Literacy knowledge and literacy exploration has been taking place at kindergarten this morning. Some of the children decided that we needed some more road signs to enhance the ones that have been recycled and used along our fence line. Literacy knowledge was shared and enhanced as small groups of children worked together.
The offering of spaces, time and materials provides meaningful opportunities for children to converse using drawing and text, to explore the world around them.
